Upon death, I regret.

O' great sun shed me tears,
Thy light I learn to fear,
Was it so different then?
When darkness I befriend.
O' endless sea, I beg thee, take me,
Intact or in pieces,
Already harmless,
Already powerless.
This once proud master,
Begging for mercy,
From merciless death linger,
Thy abyss thy fist.
What shame onto me,
These forced acquainting brought,
Fear not my stiffness,
For now I rest.
Ahmad Kamil,
03/08/2008,
Melancholy.
